interesting, could you tell me more about the creature? I don't know, somehow I thought it was cute lol. I thought about making a fanart, but something grotesque but sexy, I was reading some works in this style

Anyways this cryptid hides in an anomalous forest that only exists in a small portion of North America, the forest has purely bleached white tree's and the ground is fully covered in leaves. The leaves never grow back and the ones on the ground never disappear. The creatures themselves stalk behind these trees and try to swarm quietly to get close to it's victim, it then uses the black string like appendages to assimilate the victim into a copy of itself, hence why it is seen to have a human penis as that's typically the only thing left behind. Some of the strings are just that, strings, but some have hooks at the ends of them to latch on. The strings typically restrain the victim and go inside their body in whatever opening there is.

They are also heavily inspired by the horsehair worms and move like them lol.
